Recipe of chocolate flan and dulce de leche without oven

In this flan we are going to put the dulce de leche as an accompaniment, becoming a delicious cream that combines perfectly with this chocolate dessert.

Ingredients:

For the dulce de leche cream:

  • 400 g of liquid cream to assemble
  • 4 tablespoons of dulce de leche

For liquid candy:

  • 200 g of sugar
  • 1 glass of water

Utensils:

  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 wooden or plastic spoon
  • 1 large flanera or individual flaneras
  • Hand whisk or electric mixer with rods
  • 1 bowl or glass of blender

  • Put the milk in a saucepan with the vanilla and the cinnamon stick. Place in the fire and let it boil and take the aroma.
  • Add the chocolate into pieces and let it melt . Stir occasionally.
  • Let it cool.
  • Beat the sugar . Add the warm chocolate milk.
  • Pour the liquid caramel over the flanera. If you’re going to make the liquid candy you just have to put the water and the sugar in a saucepan. Put on the fire and stir until you get a caramel with a soft golden tone.
  • Add the mixture and put it in the refrigerator until it sets.

For the dulce de leche cream:

  • Beat the cream until it is assembled.
  • Add the dulce de leche and mix carefully so that the cream does not come down.

This flan is very different from the previous one since we incorporate the dulce de leche to the chocolate flan. Being the mix of flavors really delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 800 ml of warm milk
  • 8 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of dulce de leche
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavor

Utensils:

  • 1 bowl
  • 1 blender
  • 1 spoon
  • Microwave
  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 flanera

preparation:

  • Mix the milk with the cocoa until there are no lumps. Use any cocoa you have at home and you usually take with milk. You can do it with a blender.
  • Add the eggs , sugar, dulce de leche, cinnamon and vanilla. Beat well with the blender.
  • Put the candy in the mold.
  • Add the mixture to the mold.
  • Put in the microwave at medium power for 7 minutes. Then cook at full power 9 minutes. Remember that they are approximate times and that it depends on your microwave.
