Exercises that improve lung health

With the right exercises you can improve the health of your lungs, by strengthening the muscles that control breathing; In addition to maintaining a healthy weight, and reduce pressure on the lungs, heart and other organs.

Sitting with a straight back and crossed legs, inspires by a nasal orifice, while keeping the other closed with a finger; exhale the air slowly and repeat about 20 times with each nostril.

EXERCISE TO FACILITATE BREATHING

This exercise helps open your lungs and make breathing easier. Stand with your arms at your sides and inhale through your nose in three short breaths, as if you were smelling. When you inhale, raise your arms above your head, and exhale through your mouth, while you lower your arms to your sides. Repeat this exercise 10 to 15 times.

EXERCISE TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF THE RESPIRATORY MUSCLES OF THE TORAX AND ABDOMEN

With this exercise you will get a more efficient breathing of the respiratory muscles of the thorax, ribs, back and abdomen.

Lie on your back with your hands resting on your lower abdomen and inhale deeply through your nose so that you feel your abdomen rise. Inhale and hold your breath for a few seconds, and then exhale through your mouth. Repeat 20 to 25 times.
