Beyond seven days it loses its properties and is no longer so healthy. The measures that we indicate you are to obtain half a liter of flavored oil, but if you want to have a liter for your daily uses you only have to include twice each ingredient.


  • 3 heads of garlic
  • 2 cups of olive oil
  • One lemon’s juice.

  1. We start by getting the lemon juice.
  2. Next, we are peeling garlic cloves, one by one. Take care that they are healthy and clean. Once you have them ready, cut them into pieces and take them to a pan with the lemon juice. Put it on medium heat for about five minutes. The objective is for the garlic to warm up and mix its aroma with the lemon, but always take care that it does not burn.
  3. Now, with the help of the sieve, separate the garlic from the lemon juice. Reserve the juice, do not throw it away because we will need it later.
  4. Now, put half a cup of olive oil in the pan and heat the same garlic in this oil again. Once you see that the oil has also caught its flavor, remove them.
  5. It’s time to take the ingredients to a baking dish . Lemon juice, garlic and two glasses of oil. The goal is to heat them enough so that the flavor is unified. Put the source in the oven along with all the ingredients at 250 degrees 20 minutes. Then, allow it to cool.
  6. Once the flavored oil is warm or cold, take it to the glass bottle. Let it sit at least 2 more hours.
  7. In this way, you will obtain an oil flavored with garlic and lemon, very suitable for example to combine with meats such as chicken. But remember that you can only consume it for a week.

Ingredients for 1/2 liter:

    • 3 bulbs of garlic
    • 2 cups olive oil
    • 2 branches of rosemary and five leaves of oregano.

    • A bottle of sterilized glass


  1. We started by peeling the garlic and splitting it in half.
