The hair dryer, and especially the iron, spoil the hair to the point of burning it. Undoubtedly it is very ugly in regard to appearance, but also to capillary health. Know in this article several hydrating masks for burned hair.
Why does my hair burn?
It may be due, in addition to the above, to much exposure to the sun, salt water from the sea, chlorine from the pool, dyes, too hot water and some invasive treatments. All these factors trigger that our hair looks like or is literally “burned”.
Many women believe that the only possible solution to this problem is to cut for the sake (or the root), however, it is possible to resort to some intensive home and natural treatments, with very good results. You can recover the health of your hair with ingredients that you find very easily.
However, before determining which treatment is better (home or not), you need to know the habit or product that is causing this. Damaged hair that looks dry and breaks easily can be burned, the same if it is no longer bright, the ends are split or frayed. In these cases, the outermost protective layer, which is responsible for the appearance, is “hurt”. If you could see a healthy strand of hair under a microscope you could see that it has a “shield”. The opposite happens with a damaged hair, because it is standing, as electrified.
A very interesting advice is to stimulate the blood circulation of the scalp, to help eliminate toxins that may be blocking the follicles. This will favor the growth of healthy hair. Each day, take five minutes to massage your head (you can take advantage while watching television). If desired, place some drops of olive oil and then rinse.
Home remedies to treat burned hair
Moisturizer olive oil and rosemary
If we add the moisturizing properties of olive oil and the antioxidants of rosemary, we can achieve an excellent combination for damaged or burned hair to recover. But also, protect it from new attacks. The recipe is very simple. You should only heat ¼ cup of olive oil without boiling. Pour into a glass bottle and add five drops of rosemary essential oil. Mix well and with a few drops massage the hair. Place a plastic cap to act about 20 minutes. Then wash with shampoo and conditioner, as usual. You can repeat once a week. It is recommended to reserve it for a maximum of one month in a place where the sun does not shine and to warm up a little each time you are going to use it.
Moisturizer of egg and honey
Both ingredients can help you recover your damaged hair. It is ideal for those who have very dry and frizzy hair, with frizz and mistreated, due to chemical aggressions. Depending on the amount of hair you have (and the damage), take one or two eggs and add three tablespoons of honey. Mix well and apply to hair. Then put a plastic cap and let it act for half an hour. After that, wash with the usual shampoos and conditioners. If you want a little more hydration (it will not come at all bad), you can add a tablespoon of coconut oil and one of almonds.
Capillary hydrating fruit
Many are the properties of fruits, such as moisturizers and antioxidants, so you can use them to reconstitute the hair. Mix in the blender medium banana, some pieces of melon, half avocado and three tablespoons of plain yogurt. If your hair is badly damaged, place a vitamin E capsule. Blend well until everything is well integrated. Apply on all the hair and cover with the plastic cap, leaving it to act for half an hour and then washing as usual.
Mayonnaise, olive oil and egg moisturizer
Put an egg in a container and beat it well. Then add a tablespoon of olive oil and two of mayonnaise. Mix until all three ingredients are homogeneous. Apply to the hair , place a plastic cap and let it act for approximately 20 minutes. Then rinse with plenty of water and wash with shampoo and conditioner for mistreated hair.
Once you wash your hair as usual, remove the juice from two juicy tomatoes and rinse with it. Leave on for fifteen minutes and remove. You can also add a few pieces of tomato or the pulp in the shampoo jar.
Moisturizer of aloe vera, avocado and glycerin
This combination is really very beneficial for your burned or battered hair. For this recipe you need three tablespoons of aloe vera gel, three of vegetable glycerin and two teaspoons of avocado oil (or a spoonful of avocado pulp). Place everything in a clean, dry bottle and stir until perfectly mixed. Place a little in your hand and pass gently through the hair, especially at the tips. Cover with a towel or bath cap and leave for half an hour. Then, wash and rinse with the products you use regularly (preferably according to your hair condition). Repeat every three days.
